10/10 World Mental Health Day 2018 – Do you see what I see?

by | October 2018

At APA we recognise the importance of reducing the stigma of mental health and we encourage open conversations about mental health to help normalise issues so that people feel comfortable putting up their hands when they are struggling.

Whilst today is the official day to acknowledge and promise to action change on mental health, it's important we collectively come together. In our workplace, at home, in our schools, and the wider community we must promise and act on shedding more positive light on mental health.

This will make way for more people to seek the help and support they need without shying away!

Up to one third of Australian workers are affected by mental illness, yet many don’t seek help because of stigma and concern it might put their job at risk. Promise to shed a more positive light on mental health in your workplace this World Mental Health Day on 10 October.
